SCHOLARSHIPS

doula | educator | placenta

As part of our effort to improve our country’s maternal mortality crisis and support the most vulnerable birthing populations, a portion of every registration goes to support BEST’s scholarships. Doulas are world changers - both in their community and in their families as they use their passion to grow their business.

BIPOC Birth workers

Non-white birthing people and their babies face greater risk in pregnancy, birth and the 1st year postpartum. It is the responsibility of us all to change this.

Queer birth workers

Having support that fosters feelings of security, safety, and acceptance can improve the overall labor outcome and experience for pregnant people.

Single parent Birth workers

Families can look so many ways. If you are a single parent - you can be a doula, childbirth educator or encapsulator. We hope to make that a little easier for you.

Military Family Birth workers

Military parents, either service members themselves or their partners face unique challenges. Doulas who have faced the challenges can help.
